Found only in the Kennedy Ranges of Western Australia near Mooka Creek, Mookaite is a fossilized sediment formed from the remains of tiny marine organisms called radiolaria, laid down in an ancient inland sea. It is a stone of deep geological time, carrying within it the compressed wisdom of countless life cycles and the slow, patient intelligence of the earth itself.

The Aboriginal peoples of Australia have worked with Mookaite for thousands of years as a healing stone and a stone of connection to the land, the ancestors, and the living intelligence of country. It is one of the few stones on earth that is both geologically unique and culturally sacred to the land where it is found.
