The first of the transpersonal chakras. Located approximately 12 to 18 inches below the soles of the feet, beneath the surface of the earth itself.
The Earth Star anchors the entire chakra system into the living body of the planet. It governs your relationship with the earth at the deepest level, with ancestral lineage, with the collective memory of the land, and with the planetary field that holds all life in being.
Where the Root Chakra grounds you in your own body and personal safety, the Earth Star grounds you in something older and larger. The earth itself. The ancestors. The web of life that stretches back through time and forward into what has not yet been born.
When the Earth Star is open and connected, you feel held by the earth in a way that goes beyond the personal. You carry your lineage with grace. You walk on the land as someone who belongs to it.
Color: Black, Deep Brown & Magenta
Black and deep brown for the dark, fertile soil and the deep, magnetic pull of the earth's core. Magenta for the bridge between the earth and the cosmic, the color of the Earth Star in its most activated expression.
